Fillers with PRF Injectables

Reverse the aging process

A completely natural alternative to chemical treatments such as fillers, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) uses your body’s own blood components to rejuvenate areas prone to early aging visibility.

PRF Injectable Services

PRF is harvested using a slow-speed centrifuge, retaining more stem cells, fibrin, and white blood cells than PRP. Unlike dermal fillers that are synthetically derived, PRF Filler is an all-natural, autologous bio stimulating and volumizing gel that is obtained from your own blood to improve your skin’s tone and texture while treating the appearance of dark under eye circles, volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

Frequently asked questions

What is PRF?

PRF is Platelet Rich Fibrin which is a concentration of platelets, growth factors and cellular signaling factors that play a significant role in the biology of healing. PRF contains plasma proteins and proteases that work in a variety of ways to promote healing and prevent tissue degeneration. Compared to PRP, PRF injections release growth factors more slowly than PRP, resulting in a longer-lasting effect.

What is the difference between PRF and PRP?

Compared to PRP, PRF injections release growth factors more slowly than PRP, resulting in a longer-lasting effect. PRP is also a byproduct of blood that is exceptionally rich in platelets. PRP is similar to PRF, but PRP does not have as many white blood cells as PRF and does not contain a fibrin sheath. When we spin PRP, we use an anticoagulant. PRP does not have mesenchymal stem cells like PRF.

What is the cost?

PRF topical starts at $250 and is typically combined with microneedling. PRF injectables start at $600. Price will be determined at consultation or treatment session. Prices are subject to change. Consultation must be performed for new clients prior to services. For services other than Liposuction, this can be performed the same day if time allows. Half of the estimated cost of services is required to schedule treatment sessions.

Are PRF treatments safe?

Yes! PRF is use of your own blood. Therefore there are no allergic reactions. There also is no risk of rejection or disease transmission.

How does it work?

PRF holds regenerative properties that stimulate the body's natural healing processes, promoting tissue regeneration and collagen production. There are numerous clinical studies that have shown significant healing and long-lasting reduction in pain. Clinical results are proving PRF to be an effective, natural alternative to steroid injections, which temporarily relieve pain but do not help heal the cause.

Where can PRF be used?

PRF can be used in various medical and aesthetic treatments, making it a versatile option for patients seeking natural and effective solutions.

How long until I see results?

Depending on which treatment you are receiving, most patients have some improvement of symptoms by 4 weeks. PRF does take time to improve symptoms unlike other treatments such as steroid injections. It typically takes more than one treatment to see best results. 80% of patients reported improvement of symptoms by 6 months. Results do vary depending on the quality of a patient's PRF. Some patients who have underlying conditions or unhealthy lifestyle habits do not have as high of a concentration of PRF and therefore do not have as good of results.

How often can I receive treatments?

There are many different treatment uses for PRF. Typically treatments are spaced 6-8 weeks apart. After 3-4 treatments the spacing can increase depending on the patient's response to treatment.

Are there any side effects?

There may be redness, minor swelling, and bruising. In some cases, there may be a headache. These side effects generally pass within a few days at most.

What is the recovery time?

You can return to your normal schedule immediately following your PRF filler appointment. While you experience minor redness or swelling, these side effects generally dissipate rapidly. You should avoid the sun and skincare products such as exfoliants for a few days. It is recommended to wear a physical sunscreen for a few days after. Results of the PRF fillers appear within a day or two and continue to improve over the next few weeks, and last a year or longer. Additional sessions may be needed to achieve your personal goals and will be discussed with your medical provider at your consultation.

Who does this treatment work well for?

The purpose of the treatment is for PRF to wake up dormant hair follicles. The longer they’ve been dormant, the less likely we are able to reactivate them. Patients who are in the early stages of hair loss or who have hair thinning will see the best results.

How long does it take?

Treatment takes about an hour from time of arrival.

Is it painful?

Every patient is different with regards to pain tolerance. We are unable to utilize topical numbing agents as they could affect the hair follicles. But this is generally well tolerated by patients.

When will I start to see results?

First you will see a decrease in the amount of hair thinning and shedding. Next you will start to see hair growth usually in the first 2-3 months.

How many treatments will I need?

Each patient is unique with the size of the area, how long the hair follicles have been dormant, and overall health. It is recommended to repeat treatments every 6 weeks until a desired effect is achieved. Treatments should be performed once a month for three or four months, then every six to twelve months afterward.

What is the cost?

To have the best results for this treatment, it is recommended to have multiple treatments. Therefore pricing is geared towards packages. One stand alone treatment session is $1,000. A package of 3 treatment sessions is $1,800. Prices are subject to change. Consultation must be performed for new clients prior to services. For services other than Liposuction, this can be performed the same day if time allows. Half of the estimated cost of services is required to schedule treatment sessions.

What does awake liposuction mean?

We use tumescent anesthetic rather than general anesthetic meaning you will be awake and breathing on your own during the procedure. Do neurotoxins remove wrinkles?

The quick answer is no they do not remove wrinkles. Wrinkles are created by repetitive movement of the muscle. If you have wrinkles and fine lines that are only present when you are contracting that muscle, then the neurotoxin will help to prevent them. If you have static wrinkles, meaning they are present when the muscle is at rest, the toxin will not remove these wrinkles. There are other treatment options we can discuss at your consultation that can help treat these deeper lines and wrinkles.
